Community Service
The purpose of the Community Service Program at All Saints' is to encourage and provide opportunities for students to serve their community and to recognize their efforts. A minimum of 20 hours of documented service is required per year for middle school students and 35 hours for upper school students. Not only does this service benefit the student with scholarship opportunity upon graduation, but makes them aware of societal needs and instills in them that service is a lifetime commitment.
Students participate in service programs offered through the school as well as through other organizations. School sponsored outreach includes participation in Operation Smile, Relay for Life, Teen Court, Eagle Lake Mentoring, Fall Food Drive, Christmas Adopt-a-family and providing baloney sandwiches to a local homeless shelter. All Saints' students have also been very responsive to catastrophic events, raising money for the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and taking a mission trip to New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Students are welcome to approach the school with any ideas that they may have for community outreach.
