Welcome to the second grade! As students continue to build their reading and writing skills, they are also introduced to cursive writing. The students will engage in activities that use higher level critical thinking skills and differentiated learning. Math challenges will include participating in the Continental Math League (CML), and the mastery of multiple digit addition and subtraction. Science and Social Studies will provide the students opportunities to complete group and individual projects while exploring history and the world around them.
