Athletics
Athletics exist as an integral part of our school mission: at All Saints' Academy, we nurture each student's academic, spiritual, social, emotional and physical development. We are dedicated to the development of the student as a whole person. Healthy athletic competition instills in each student the best principles of sportsmanship, commitment, self-discipline and teamwork. While participating in athletics, students develop greater confidence and increased self-esteem as well as acceptance of personal responsibility. Students who participate in the athletic programs at All Saints' will find many opportunities to improve their athletic skills, personal fitness, leadership skills, sportsmanship and team play.
The ASA coaching staff has extensive knowledge of their sports and the passion to provide student-athletes with opportunities to grow, to achieve excellence individually and as a part of a team. ASA coaches are dedicated to their profession in the classroom and on the playing field. They share a mission of building and maintaining the strongest possible athletic program.
For the 2012-2013 school year, All Saints' will field 24 teams in 14 sports, and students in grades six through twelve are encouraged to participate. All Saints' Academy is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and competes in the Division IA level. In addition, our football team participates in the Sunshine State Athletic Conference.
To be eligible for participation on an All Saints' athletic team, a student must have on file in the athletic office three fully completed forms: the FHSAA Preparticipation Physical Form (EL02), the FHSAA Consent and Release of Liability Certificate (EL03), and the Liability Certificate for Concussion (EL3CH).
