Welcome from the Director
Welcome to All Saints’ Academy! We are delighted you have decided to explore our school. All Saints’ Academy is a co-educational independent day school with 600+ students enrolled in Pre-school - 12th grade, located in the heart of Central Florida. Independent schools cherish their autonomy and their own unique qualities while often sharing common goals. Central to our philosophy, All Saints’ Academy believes strongly in the education of the whole child. We believe that All Saints’ prepares its students to be caring, compassionate, and competitive leaders and global citizens. We charge each student not only to learn how to live in the world today, but also with how he or she can change it for the better.
Our philosophy and the teaching methodologies used by our experienced educators embody the most current research into how children’s brains learn, taking into account what children need to know as they go forth as 21st century learners. You can be assured that we will partner with you to teach your child to be a critical thinker, not merely a recipient of a curriculum set forth in a textbook. We teach our children how to think, rather than to memorize, and we make sure each child is an active participant in the process. Research has shown us that critical thinking and communication skills will be the most important assets that our children can possess as they grow up in the 21st century.
At All Saints’ Academy, learning is fun! Classroom lessons are engaging and involve a multidisciplinary, hands-on approach, whether it’s mastering multiplication tables, taking an active role in student government, or developing a thesis for a Lyceum project. Our kids embrace the pursuit of knowledge, and we know that this love of learning is essential to creating lifelong scholars.
We know that your child needs to be confident as he or she goes forth into the unknown world after graduating from All Saints’ Academy. Our students are secure in the knowledge that any challenge can be met and any problem can be solved. For our students, the correct answer is not the end of an inquiry but merely one part of the process in learning how to think. Correct answers are good, but there is also tremendous value to be found in incorrect answers, as they show us what directions and strategies did not work. We encourage students to strive to find strategies that lead to the correct answers while learning from the process of discovery.
At All Saints’ Academy, all of our students are loved and respected by their teachers, and nurturing those relationships with the adults in their lives and their fellow classmates is a responsibility that we take seriously. We invite you to stop by and experience the magic that is All Saints’ Academy. We look forward to welcoming you to our campus!
